A blatant, annoying advertisement for products advertising products 2K Sports generate a lot of money from sponsorship deals with companies like Gatorade, Beats, and Mountain Dew. To some extent, the immersion in the sport is enhanced by the presence of actual companies. These ads have turned out to be extremely irritating over the last few years.

NBA 2K20 was a fantastic example of corporate influence diluting the product. Companies were able produce advertising ads during the event, which was something that cannot be missed. Gatorade, Beats and other businesses were prominently displayed during the entire game. The advertising got old quickly. The passive ads are fine within my Neighbourhood. But I strongly disapprove of the push of products onto the player. I'd like to see these scenes and advertisements eliminated from NBA 2K21.

MyCareer Free Agency Once you've reached the aforementioned level in MyCareer it's possible to influence your team's free agency decisions. The MyPlayer is able to select five open agency targets which the front office will try to achieve. This is a new aspect that rewards MyCareer's grind.

The free agency timeframe is absurd. The fact that five selected players will join your team when they are free isn't explained. It doesn't matter what salary you've set. In my most recent save, Jayson Tatum, Brandon Ingram and Anthony Davis all joined the Cleveland Cavaliers on maximum contracts. It was ridiculous and made it very simple to save for me in my second year in Cleveland.
